Mr. Wan joined FINSAC in May 1999. Prior to this he held the position of Executive Director of the Jamaica Bankers Association (JBA) and the Association of Licensed Financial Institutions (ALFI) - a position he has held since 1996. From this platform, he has brought considerable influence to bear on newly enacted legislation affecting the prudential regulation of the financial sector. Mr. Wan has wide experience in the international banking sector, having served some five years with Citibank NA (Florida). In the local financial sector he managed investments during his five-year tenure at the Insurance Company of the West Indies (ICWI) Group Limited.
