Ms. MacLure was a senior government financial sector regulator in Canada for over 7 years. As Executive Director of Examinations for British Columbias Financial Institutions Commission (FICOM), she was responsible for all annual risk-based examinations of over 100 financial institutions, including insurance companies, credit unions, and trust companies. Previously at FICOM she acted as Deputy Superintendent of Insurance, and Executive Director, Finance and Systems. She also has over 11 years experience in Canada and England as a banker, where her responsibilities at the Royal Bank of Canada and the Toronto Dominion Bank included the handling of portfolios of corporate and commercial accounts totaling over C$500 Million. She has consulted for the World Bank, focusing on the statutory compliance of the banking sector in Indonesia. Ms. MacLure has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, and a Masters in Education from Western Washington University in the United States. Her first degree was a Bachelor of Science, with a major in mathematics. She is Team Leader of the two-year FINSAC/Inter-American Development Bank Insurance project, as well as serving FINSAC as General Manager, Intervention and Rehabilitation Insurance.
