Mrs. Miller taught in one of Jamaica’s premiere Boys Schools – Jamaica College – and lectured at the Shortwood Teachers College before she went into the field of Insurance becoming a Chartered Life Underwriter. During her twelve year tenure at Life of Jamaica and subsequently Crown Eagle Life Insurance Company, Mrs. Miller formulated and implemented several initiatives which made positive impact on both premium income and market share of the companies. Her immediate past position was that of Vice President for Marketing at Crown Eagle Life. Her special skills include those of marketing, team-building, motivational and public speaking and negotiating. She is also a director of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of Jamaica and along with her husband, manages a fish farm in Bogwalk, St. Catherine. She makes time to enjoy her two hobbies, cake decorating and gardening.
